Ways to Stay Motivated to Exercise
Let’s start by remembering all the reasons we decided to exercise. Every year millions on people all over the world make New Year’s resolutions to work out. Then after a short amount of time we lose sight of our original goal.
Now for some tough love. If you started a fitness plan stick to it! If you fell off the wagon get back on! We all have good days and bad days but it’s always a good day when we do something for ourselves. The following is a list of reasons why you should continue to exercise.
- Everyone benefits from a stronger, healthier body.
- After a long day at work exercise or yoga can alleviate stress.
- Increased energy and endurance is a reward for your work.
- Celebrate your efforts both large and small. Treat yourself to a spa treatment, new outfit to accentuate that smaller waistline.
- Last but not least the American Heart Association recommend physical activity to improve overall health.
The important thing is that you keep moving. If you don’t feel like going to the gym try jumping rope or jumping jacks, it may be old school but it works.
As always, consult your physician before starting a work out routine.
