I love to walk.  I walked to and from work for an entire year which was no easy feat in the winter but during that year I not only lost weight but I watched the seasons change as the trees lost their leaves in winter and the flowers began to bloom again in Spring.  I realized how much nature we miss during our busy hurried lives.

In many countries walking is the main means of getting from one location to the next.  Today that is no longer the case.  Most people own at least one car if not two. Walking to work is not considered desirable which is unfortunate.  Walking is not only great exercise but it’s an easy way to lose weight.

The best thing about walking is that it requires no equipment and can de done anywhere inside or out.  Just strap on some good walking shoes or sneakers and your on your way. The best walking is done outside rather you’re at Central Park, the museum or walking around your neighborhood walking is the best way to burn calories.

I wear Nike Air Max. It’s the shoe for me, whenever I challenge my fitness tracker to twenty thousand steps or more I lace up my shoes and away I go.
